What's new?

Here's a highlight of the changes for this version. The full changelog is, as always, available on the forum and the app Home page.

"New Icon, who dis?"

As you can already tell from this blog post image, NetIP has a new icon!

This logo was originally created as a test of Bing Chat when Microsoft released its image generation feature. I used it as a placeholder when working on the initial release of NetIP, and never got the time to replace it. With the help of ChatGPT and after a couple of days playing with Illustrator, I'm quite happy with the result considering my poor graphics design skills!

For those interested, here's an archive containing the logo in various sizes (256, 500, 1000, ICO and SVG). It's available on the forum.

Proxy Support

At last, users can now configure their own proxy settings for NetIP to follow. The available modes are:

• No Proxy
• Yes (System Proxy)
• Yes (Custom Proxy)

You can also quickly switch between proxy mode directly from the Network Popup:

Better Logging

The logging system has been slightly improved in this version. The logs can now be displayed live in the Logs page:

There's also some quick access buttons to the log file folders in case you need them.
