NetIP Software Launch - v0.1.0 Unleashed!

At last!

NetIP Software Launch - v0.1.0 Unleashed!

Alright, let's do this.

Today, I'm very happy to release on the Internet my first open-source software : NetIP. 🎉

In this post, I'm going to explain what NetIP is and how you can use it. I've also published another post that explains the whys, the hows and my goals around this project.

What's NetIP?

NetIP is an open-source Windows utility software that provides quick access to your computer network information.

NetIP is available from the Taskbar. With one click, you can copy to your clipboard your public/local IPs, without having to google "What's my IP" or navigating through countless windows settings. That's it. It's designed to be a small tool in your everyday IT toolkit.

NetIP is released under the AGPLv3 license. You can start using it right now, and I'd love to hear your feedback about it.

Future updates

With v0.1.0 out, I can now resume my work on the next update for NetIP. I want to add a DNS Profiles and Custom IP Providers, there's also a few known issues/bugs to iron out.

Make sure to visit the forum if you want to suggest/vote for new ideas or identify a bug!

NetIP is provided for free along with its code source, a community forum, a website and a documentation. Needless to say, all of this took a lot of time and work.

If you want to support this work, please consider visiting the donate page of the project. Thank you!

And that's all! I hope I didn't forget something, but if so, I'll update this post. If you want to read more, you can check the other post regarding the whys, the hows and my goals around NetIP.
